Fire Safety Training

Fire Services Act 1981

Due to the tragic events at the Stardust in 1981, the Fire Service Act was implemented. All businesses are now required to have fire safety measures in place that must include staff training.

First Aid Skills can provide all Fire Safety Courses to suit your premises, including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Extinguishers, and Fire Warden Training. All our instructors have worked in the Fire Service, which allows us to deliver a high standard of training. All courses are fully certified for two years.

Manual Handling

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4 of Part 2, outline the requirements that must be adhered to in relation to manual handling.

First Aid Skills provides Manual Handling Training for all businesses and places of work. All courses are certified for three years. Each course is two hours, with up to a maximum of 12 participants per course.
